Madeline's First Haircut

Last Saturday, we went to Pigtails and Crewcuts for Madeline's first official haircut. We trimmed it once or twice (her hair looked like Loyd Christmas from Dumb and Dumber)
We bought the First Hair Cut Package. The package included some of her hair, a certicate and afterwards picture.
We had the best hair stylist, Cousin Gayle. She has a little girl McKenzie, so she is very familar with kids!

Each hair station has a television and this one caught her attention.

Like I said in the previous post, Madeline loves trains. This train table kept her busy during the wait.

Happy Birthday Uncle Judd!

Uncle Judd, Happy Birthday!
We had a wonderful time at Taste of Thai.

Madeline was not too sure about Thai food at first, but she loved it!

Thanks for coming over to play after dinner!
I hope you had one of the best Birthdays ever!
Have a wonderful time in Florida next week!
We Love you, Uncle Judd

Then she got to wear her GranDad's glasses!

We will miss the Penix clan, Paige, Shaggy, Bella and Fox while they are in Florida next week.
We will take great care of all the dogs! Madeline is very excited to have extra dogs staying with us!
We went outside after you left and Sweet Pea jumped in the pool and Max was doing boy dog things to Lulu! Poor Lulu, this may be a long week for her. I think she feels violated!

Last weekend

Last Friday, Madeline woke up and played with mommy's tennis shoes. She loves putting on mommy and daddy's shoes!

We went to the pool to play on Thursday and Friday. On Friday, we met Amanda, Addison and Sutton Reed. Madeline loves Addison and looks up to her. I love watching them grow up together.
I was too busy talking to Amanda and did not take any pictures of the kids on Friday.

Thursday night, we headed over to the Elliotts house for dinner. Michelle cooked a wonderful meal! She made Pioneer Woman pork shoulder (Dr. Pepper was in it) and Pioneer Woman creamed corn. I want to make both very, very soon! By the way, thinking about our meal makes me so excited about Pioneer Woman's Show on the Food Network in August!

 Sweet Ava!
Madeline disappeared for a moment and we found her digging through the triplets toys. She pulled out quit a few to play with. Thanks so much for sharing!

Madeline and I were putting our feet in the water and she decided she wanted to go in. I looked away and Ben had stripped her down to her birthday suit and put her in the pool. I ran and got a swim diaper. I want the Elliotts to invite us back and they may not if Miss Priss had an accident without her swim diaper!

Friday, I headed to the Triplets' sip and see for a few moments. I didn't get to stay long because we had plans with Ben's family.

Madeline and Bella playing with the Choo Choo Train. Madeline has started to love trains.
 Family Picture.
Madeline was not looking in any of the ones that we took, but this one is the best of her.

Bath time!
The girls loved splashing around together.
This was Madeline's first time to take a bath with another child and she loved it!
