Ben said the bread was some of the best bread he has eaten, which is a huge complement because he LOVES bread. He took some over to Brandon's to share and show off my bread making skills(just joking). It is so easy , delicious and beautiful. Not to toot my horn, but my bread was more beautiful than the bread in Bluebird's blog post. Wish I could take credit for making great bread, but this recipe is soooo simple/ easy/ fool proof.
I did not have instant or rapid rising yeast. I used the yeast I had in my pantry and warmed the water to very, very warm/ hot, mixed my yeast in the water and then mixed in dry ingredients. I let the bread rise for 24 hours because of how our schedule work out. Her recipe calls for 16 hours, she let her bread rise for 20. All times seem to work great.
Enjoy!
