15 Months Update
Madeline has the best personality. She loves to put on a show for everyone and she loves attention! She loves music and to dance, to be outside, she will put away anything if we start singing "Gently put the _______________ away,.....", if I ask her to throw something away she will carry it to the laundry room and throws it in the trashcan. She really likes to help me clean and I always let her get involved. I will hand her a tiny broom, or a little cloth and she will start wiping down her little play kitchen, our refrig, or dish washer.
Very, Very loving. Loves to give hugs and kisses, a lot! Takes after her Daddy and is very, very social and full of energy. She does not want to miss out. She is strong willed and is not afraid to throw a fit if she does not get her way.
Eating out has become more difficult because she wants to be down exploring and playing.
Tons of teeth. Her bottom molars are completely in and her top molars are partially in.
Favorite words: Puppy; hot (if something is hot she says hot and then blows on it to cool it off); cold; baba (bottle); up; down; uh oh; baby; Thank you; Abby; No; Pucci; Lululululu. When we ask what does a train say she answers: Chooo, Chooooo. She tries to repeat everything we say. She has a big stuffed snake toy and makes the hissing snake noise when we mention it or she sees it. She can say other words, but those are her favorites.
Loves school. Ben puts her down when they get in her classroom and she starts playing. Same at the church nursery. Has not cried or clinge to us when we take her.
Favorite foods are: Apple sauce, strawberries and watermelon. She is a great eater, but these are the ones she tries to climb into the refrig to get herself. Does not like white potatoes and is not a huge meat eater. She likes Salmon. Only drinks water out of her sippee cup and will only drink milk out of a bottle. Loves to eat. I feel like I am constantly making meals and snacks all day. Loves to feed Pucci and Lulu her left overs. She claps when she is all done and has started picking up her plate and handing it to me. This takes the guessing game out of if she is full or not.
Started hitting and pinching. She makes the funniest face when she pinches. Her face says, I am pinching as hard as possible. I tell her that hurts, etc... but I really want to laugh. She makes very dramatic faces. Loves to make her funny face.
When we say lets go outside, she runs to get her shoes and then sits down and sticks her foot up for us to put her shoe on. She loves to put mommy and daddy's shoes on and walks around the house.
I ask if she has a dirty diaper and she grabs her diaper. Too much information, but she has become very interested in me going to the restroom and will follow me and starts saying pee pee.
Does not like having her teeth brushed. Wants to do it herself, but we have to do it first in order to get her teeth clean.
Loves to climb.
Sleeps in her crib at night and for naps! Sleeps 10 hours at night and takes a nap around 12:30 pm and naps for about 2 hours.
Loves her bath and playing at the swimming pool.
I am biased, but she is a very smart and bright little girl.
As always, she has brought so much joy into our lives. We love her soooo much!

Last Week:Part 2
While Ben gives Madeline her bath, I clean up the kitchen and sweep the kitchen/den. Madeline loves to come and help once she is dressed for bed.
On Thursday, Ark/Mo Railroad had a kids day so Madeline and I went on a train ride. It was perfect timing because she just started saying Choo Choo when she sees a train in her books or we ask her what a train says.
Her Funny face.
When we say, "Make your funny face", this is the face she makes.....
When we were pulling into the station we saw Madeline's Daddy and GranDaddy waiting on us.
She was waving to people in the station but jumped towards the window and plastered her hands and face to the window once she saw them.
On Thursday, it was a very special day.
Madeline's GranDaddy celebrated a birthday.
Happy Birthday, GranDaddy!!!!
On Friday, Madeline turned 15 months! Blog post to come.
On Saturday, we celebrated GranDad's birthday with cake!
Madeline was looking at the cake and she quickly snuck her fingers into the cake.
We just got home from Madeline's school Father's Day cookout and it was hot. We were still cooling off. Madeline was running around playing at the cookout, I looked at her and she was bright red. I was scared she got a little sunburn, but she was just really, really hot.
Madeline wanted more cake!

Last Week: Part 1
Well, I am still behind on blogging! Summer is too much fun and leaves little time for me to sit down to blog.
I am going to break our past week into two blog posts.
Every morning, Madeline gives Lulu lots and lots of lovin'
Madeline loves to make faces and now she likes to stop and make them at herself when she walks by the mirror.
Madeline has done lots of yard work!
After watering the plants and yard, she thought Lulu needed to be watered too.
Her swing is finally up!
Madeline's Dad and Grandad put it up for Madeline last weekend.
She LOVES it!
I got home from running errands last weekend and this is how I found my two favorite people in the backyard.
Madeline looks like I surprised her.
Delivering Father's Day cards to her GranDad.
Happy Father's Day!
After having lunch at Ben's parents we headed to the Elliotts.
We got to spend time with the Elliotts and McCarty's on Saturday at the Farmer's Market and Sunday at the Elliotts. Michelle took pictures of all the kids at the Farmer's Market and I will post once I pics from her.
We had the kids's strollers lined up: Elliott Triplets, McCarty Twins and Madeline. 3-2-1. Melissa is pregnant and will have three with her next summer. Ben and I are way behind. We have some catching up to do!
I was holding Knox and giving him a bottle last weekend and Madeline walked up and said baby, then pointed at the bottle I was feeding him and said baba and then patted his leg. She was so sweet and then she went and crawled in his swing and started swinging herself.
Madeline playing with Austyn and Asher McCarty.
So sad I do not have a pic of the adorable triplets!
Strawberry Popsicles
More yard work!
