Fall School Pictures

Graham was 7 Months Old
Madeline was 2 Years 7 Months Old

Last Week

I am back! I have lots to catch up on. This is from our past week and then I will start back in early December. I cannot believe I did not blog any in December!

On our days home, I do not turn the TV on but last Monday I did since it was Inauguration Day.
Ben was a little grumpy and told me to quit documenting the day. No matter how you feel about politics, History was being made and I love the history and tradition of this special Day. Plus I love seeing D.C., brings back lots of great memories. My mom text ed me that day and said she missed D.C. Ben and I were at Bush's swearing in 8 years ago and then went to a Ball.

Madeline would watch bits and pieces before we headed to gymnastics. She loved the band and kept saying she wanted to hear the marching band. Brother was headed for a cabinet he could get in and pull everything out! Busy, Busy Boy!!!

Friday we had a lazy day and played around the house.
Graham loved being pulled around...

Friday night, we had a girls night.
Michelle and Ava picked us up and we headed to US Pizza to meet Caroling Gearhart, Ellison Clark and then mommies. After dinner, we headed to the Gymbacks meet. Madeline was so excited and kept saying we were going to watch "Grown ups do Gymnastics"

When Michelle got to our house, Madeline was so excited and said " Mom, come on we have to go, we are so late"

Madeline loves riding in other people's car so riding in Ms. Michelle's car was a treat. When Madeline says her name it sounds more like Shell

Madeline was so scared of the Mascots!!!! Especially the "Big Mascot" as Madeline called him. When we walked it, Michelle and Ava got their picture with him but Madeline was holding on to me so tightly and shaking a bit. After we sat down, she kept looking for him and saying she did not want him to come close. After awhile she looked at me and said the Mascot cannot get to me because of the seats, I agreed and she relaxed and enjoyed the gym meet.
Calling the hogs.

Always Very animated with her facial expressions!

DJ Williams was sitting close to us. He is one of Ben's favorite Razorback players. As we were leaving, I told Michelle I should have taken a picture of him and Madeline together for Ben. I did not think about it. After looking through my pictures, I noticed I accidentally took one with him in the background! Better than nothing.....

As we were getting out of Michelle's car Madeline said " Thank you, let's do this again in your car sometime"
We had such a time night!!! Graham was asleep at 6 so him and Ben had a relaxing evening!

Family movie night. We watched Tinkerbell.
I like it and learned lots about fairies. Did you know a fairy is born every time a baby laughs for the first time? I look forward to doing some fairy crafts with Madeline in early Spring! Fairy gardens and houses!

Monthly Update: 9 Months

I am so far behind on blogging!! We were busy and enjoyed every minute of Christmas season, then we got sick and have been busy after the new year. I will start playing catch up! I have so many fun things to post from December and January. I typed the blog post below on December 19 and never posted it. So here it is.
.

 Typed December 20
Plays peek a boo, laughs so hard when I hide/ pop out and say peek a boo, Baby Graham will cover his face with little blanket and pull it down  and I say peek a boo.
Wants anything his sister has, toy arguments started a little over a month ago.
Still loves bath time, now takes baths in the big tub.
Has five teeth, three on top ( front two and one to right of front tooth) and two on bottom.
Still sleeps in our bed and is usually asleep around 7 at night and gets up around 7 in the morning, but wakes up a couple of times during the night.
Needs to take 2 naps during the day, but fights it and only  takes one most days.
I thought he was going to be my calm, quiet baby but he is becoming more verbal, loud and active (not wanting to take naps like sister)
Reaches and grabs for everything - he has spilled cup of water, etc.......
Can wear a size 3 or 4 diaper.
On Tuesday his school said he was crawling all over the place, but we have not witnessed it yet. He started pulling up/standing last week and has been getting up on all fours and rocking for awhile. He acts like he is going to crawl but then drops down to his belly and does an army crawl.
He is the easiest, happiest baby! So sweet and is definitely a momma's boy:) He just goes with the flow and as long as he is being held, cuddled he is sooo happy.
His face lights up when he sees his big sister.
First words were Dada, then added Momma and says Babababa a lot. When Madeline is being silly and trying to get our attention she copies Graham and starts saying Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba...
When he is talking in baby language, Madeline looks at me and says " I have no idea what he is saying?"

Baby Graham, we thank God for you every day and have enjoyed every second of the last nine months. Your Dad and I will always be here for you and will love you no matter what. I cherish every second I spend with you being a tiny tot and look forward to seeing you grow into the person you wish to become. You will also always be my Baby Boy even when you are 30!

P.S. As I type this in bed, your feet are resting on my stomach and I am listening to you breath. Music to this mommy's ears.  Your right hand is in a fist by your ear and the other hand is resting on your belly, and oh my goodness, the sweetest little face. This is a moment I want to always remember.

I do not think I ever noted when he started rolling over: Graham started rolling over on August 7
