1 Month

Madeline turned 1 Month old on April 24, 2010

Boy oh boy, Madeline's first month has past by so quickly!!!Madeline has changed so much since she was born. She is smiling a lot and is very vocal now. We love when she smiles and it just melts her parents hearts. She loves to communicate and of course we always talk back. We have started playing with a couple of toys and she follows it with her eyes and head. She is very happy and is a great sleeper. Most nights her last feeding is at 11 p.m. and she does not wake up until 4 a.m. for her next feeding. She makes the cutest facial expressions while she is sleeping. We love to sit there and watch to see what expression she will make next. Since she has become aware of her surrounds, she tries to fight going to sleep when we are in a different place or around a lot of people. Her eyes get very heavy and close, then she will open them quickly (she does not want to miss anything). She loves to be carried around so she can look around, but she also loves to lay on a blanket to kick her legs, move her arms and look around. While being carried, she picks her head up off of our shoulder and looks all around. She has also gotten very good at tummy time and turns her head several times.
