Madeline turned 2 on March 24. We hosted her  Birthday Party on March 10, but we figured we might as well continue the celebrations on her actual birthday, too.

Miss Priss and her Daddy picked up donuts. When they were ordering at the window Madeline ordered/yelled that she wanted big donuts, which meant she wanted a donut, not donut holes.

 She carried around her gardening bag the Elliott Triplets gave her like a purse all day.

 We decided to cookout so we invited family and a few of our neighbors over.

 Ben's parents picked up Elmo cupcakes on the way over!

Our neighbor, Ms. Dorothy's  birthday is the day after Madeline's so she had to blow out a candle, too.

She turned 84!

 Grandpa Rick drove up from Pine Bluff that evening.

First monthly Picture without a crib!

We had to find a new place to take her monthly pictures.

As you can see, she was not interested in having her monthly picture taken at all. I only got one shot.



This girl rules our house! She is very talkative and sings all the time!

Her favorite songs to sing are Jesus Loves Me and a Dinosaur song she learned at school.

She also sings Twinkle Twinkle, Happy Birthday and ABC's a lot. She sings more, but those are her favorites.

She counts to 10.

Always wants to wear an outfit with pockets. She likes to keep raisins in there for a little snack every now and then.
Very particular about the shoes she is going to wear. If she picks out a pair, do not expect to change her mind.
LOVES, LOVES, LOVES Books. We read a lot. She is not attached to a stuffed animal/blanket and does not sleep with a certain lovie every night, but she wants to cuddle and sleep with a book.
Very hard to put down for a nap!!!! This is the most stressful part of the day.
Great eater. She eats healthy, but we also like candy too. She asks for 2 candies quite a bit (2 mini peanut butter cups).
Very loving and LOVES to cuddle! She is sassy and loves to test Mom and Dad, but she is our sassy sweet girl and we love her so much! The first 2 years of her life flew by!!!!!
