On Saturday we attended Max's 1st Birthday party. As you can see from the pictures below, Madeline was a wild party animal when we arrived! It was at SCC and it was HOT, but we had so much fun. When we arrived Madeline was asleep so we carried her to the pool in her carseat, she started to sweat so we moved her to her stroller. I thought it may be cooler in the stroller and could put her somewhere to get a little breeze, well all of a sudden her face got soooo red and she was sweating more. Her hair was soaking wet! Ben and I got a little worried so we headed to the club house to cool off. Once we were inside, she woke up and loved talking to everyone there. After cooling off, we headed back to the pool. This girl loves water! She has never cried or screamed in the pool. Dad accidentally held her a little low and her mouth went under water for a second and she did not care at all.
The entertainment!
Ben already informed me that we will not be hiring entertainment for Madeline's 1st Birthday party.
Daddy is such a party pooper! When he told me this, the movie Father of the Bride popped into my head and the image of Franck saying to George " Every Party has a pooper and that's why we invited you...."
Time to hit the pool.....

Thank you so much for inviting us. We had so much fun watching you enjoy your cake and opening your gifts. I think someone may be a farmer one day! It was great visiting with your parents too!
