Summer Fun!

 The kids were swimming in the kiddie pool and decided they wanted to take a break and wait for the geese. The water is very shallow by the dock, which is why they were on the dock without a life-vest!

 My mom kept the kids while I relaxed and had a facial!

 We fed tons of geese several times everyday. We counted 23 at one time, but most of the time there were 16. Twice we were on the dock, a goose jumped on the dock with us and started hissing trying to get food. He scared me to death, I started screaming and was telling Madeline to run! The geese were very aggressive, they would bite another goose and pull out a mouth full of feathers if they got a biet of food they wanted. We gave them enough food for everyone, so they need to learn to share!

There was a goose with a broken wing and Madeline was (still is) so concerned about the goose with the broken wing. She talks about him all the time and says "Goose with a broken wing" in the sweetest and very concerned voice and then says " He be okay and  I made him happy by feeding him". Such a kind girl!

 Why not take a bath on the patio?

 Madeline had her first piece of gum last weekend. She thought she was soooo cool. It was hilarious watching her. Sometimes she would forget about it and it would fall out and then she would remember and say "Where my gum go?" Gum will be a very special treat, but she found some and said she was going to hold it for Big Momma. I could tell she really, really wanted it so I let her try it. She was soooo excited. She also got to drink some of my sparkling water+ a bit of orange juice. It is in a can so she was very excited to drink it too. She kept saying "I'm drinking coke". Again, she had the I am so cool look on her face while drinking it.

 Madeline liked to carry the bag of food for the geese, she would say "this is so heavy" while carrying it.

We went through 2 bags of cereal, bag of gold fish, box of crackers and a couple of loaves of bread. The geese got plenty of food last weekend.
