Surprise Part 1

The party was not until Saturday night, but Uncle Al knew a few of us were coming to town for the party and decided Aunt Sue would rather spend the day with us instead of  us surprising her at the party and only having a short time to visit and mingle with 40 other guests. Uncle Al did not know Michael was flying in from D.C. Michael told him he had to go to London for work. So Uncle Al had a surprise waiting for him, too. We all met at The Hermitage Hotel restaurant in downtown Nashville for breakfast. I LOVE the Hotel and hope to stay there one day. SOOOOO Beautiful. See Hotel Here

The surprise was priceless. The waitress walked them right by our table to seat them at a table for 2. Aunt Sue did not notice us. My Aunt Brenda said, Happy Anniversary, Aunt Sue turned in her in our direction and said "Thank You" and then proceeded to tell the waitress her and Al sat at the same table the night before. They stayed the night at The Hermitage Hotel. Aunt Sue said she remembers thinking how odd it was that some lady knows its my anniversary.  Then Uncle Al said "that sure looks like a table full of nice people, lets go sit with them" My Aunt said okay, thinking he was joking, once he started to get up she looked over at us and stared in my Aunt Brenda and her 2 sons direction. I remember thinking, she does not recognize them. All of a sudden, it dawned on her! She jumped up with excitement with tears in her eyes. I wish I had my camera rolling. It's really hard to describe the experience, but we all remember it and my Aunt Brenda is right when she says it was a perfect, priceless moment.

Madeline kept asking Aunt Sue, Aunt Brenda, Big Momma and I to take her to the ballroom during breakfast. We had a very long breakfast (couple of hours) so we took several ballroom breaks. After breakfast, Madeline made everyone follow her to the beautiful ballroom.
She was so excited about the surprise and seeing everyone, she had lots of energy!

Madeline decided to photo bomb the Adam's family picture....

My little cousin!
He graduates college soon and was accepted to pilot training in the Air Force.
We are so proud of him!!!
